Communications Manager
Location: Hybrid – Chicagoland Area Preferred
Reports To: Political Director
Position Type: Full-Time

All United PAC is a nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to putting people first. We work to amplify the voices of everyday individuals and advocate for policies that reflect our shared values.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and mission-driven Communications Manager to shape and lead our external communications and digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, grassroots politics, and growing people-powered movements.
The Communications Manager will play a key role in building the All United brand, expanding our digital presence, creating engaging content, and helping retain and grow our base of small-dollar donors. This position will report directly to the Political Director and work closely with campaign staff, partners, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Message Development
Lead development and execution of the PAC’s brand, voice, and messaging
Create content that communicates our values, work, and vision
Ensure consistency across all platforms and materials
Digital Media & Content Creation
Develop and manage content for social media, email, website, and fundraising platforms
Design graphics, videos, and digital assets that engage and mobilize supporters
Monitor and respond to online engagement and trends
Small Donor Communications & Retention
Craft donor communications for regular supporter retention
Support email fundraising campaigns and digital fundraising strategies
Track donor data and engagement to improve outreach and giving rates
Media & Public Relations
Draft press releases, media advisories, op-eds, and talking points
Maintain media lists and relationships with reporters
Support rapid response efforts and earned media strategies
Team Support & Reporting
Collaborate with political and field teams to amplify campaign messaging
Provide regular analytics and performance reports on digital and communications efforts
Support communications needs of candidates and campaigns as needed
Qualifications
2–4 years experience in political communications, digital organizing, marketing, or related field
Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Threads) and digital tools (e.g., Canva, Action Network, Mailchimp, Mobilize)
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
Experience with digital fundraising and donor engagement a plus
Familiarity with local political work, organizing, or electoral campaigns
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
A collaborative, adaptable team player with a commitment to movement building
